Kevan Thakrar, known as Kev to his friends was only 20 years old when he was initially wrongly convicted of this crime.
He was born the third of four sons on 9-3-1987. His star sign is pisces. Kev did well at school acheiving all the GCSE’s he studied for, as well as going on to study A levels.
He regularly attended the gym and enjoyed keeping fit since joining Enfield Swimming Club as a child and taking part in regular competitions. As part of his fitness regime Kev stayed away from fizzy drinks, sweets and chocolates. Alcohol was saved for special occassions, and he is and always has been anti-drugs doing his best to distance himself from them and people who use them.
At the time of his arrest Kev was recovering from depression which he had struggled with for months during 2006/2007. He was extremely naive of the law, the English Judiciary and the Justice system in this country. He had never been involved in crime so believed wrongly, like most people do, that being innocent of a crime means that you could never be convicted of it.
Unfortunately for Kev, he didnt know about Joint Enterprise or Multiple Hearsay. These laws effectively guarantee that the Crown Prosecution Service can take anyones life away on the direction of a Police Force who get paid for results. Right now Kev is being held at HMP Woodhill Close Supervision Centre which has the most extreme and brutal conditions of all Her Majesty’s prisons. For an innocent man, living like this must be unbearable. Just think, next time you hear the Police are searching for a criminal suspect, it could be you…… “What society must remember is that for every innocent man and woman convicted of murder, a guilty killer is on our streets ready to kill again.” Bobby Cumminas,Chief Executive,
IF THERE IS ANYONE WHO CAN PROVIDE ANY INFORMATION REGARDING THIS CASE WHICH COULD HELP KEV, PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO CONTACT.
